The Marzamemi Festival returns to Old Deer Park in Richmond for its second year, featuring even more Italian food, music, design, and family-friendly fun. The festival will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 5th, and Sunday, July 6th, 2025
Following a successful debut, this year’s edition promises to be even more spectacular, offering a weekend filled with delicious Italian cuisine, live music, stylish interiors, artisanal markets, beauty experiences, and activities for all ages. Inspired by the charm of the seaside Sicilian village that shares its name, the Marzamemi Festival brings a slice of southern Italy to the heart of London. From authentic street food and craft cocktails to homeware shopping, live DJs, and children’s entertainment, the event blends Italian heritage with the creativity of local makers and artists.
This year’s culinary lineup includes iconic pasta dishes by Pasta Evangelists, calamari & chips by local favourite Cento Uno, freshly shucked oysters by The Oyster Society, world-famous pizza from Napoli on the Road, deep-fried Crescentine by Indegno, and arancini by Arancino of Sicily – known for serving the best arancini this side of the Mediterranean. Sweet and frozen treats include Granita and Gelato by Sicilian Pride, mouth-watering pasta by Crazy For Pasta, and Sicilian cannoli and cassatine from Etna Coffee. To complement the flavours of Italy, the drinks offering features Malfy Gin cocktails, such as Limoncello Spritz and Negroni Bianco, as well as frozen Frosé by Fredo’s Frose, and a dedicated Aperol Spritz bar throughout the weekend.
The festival is also a summer haven for music lovers, with a live performance from the renowned Italian Radio Society, along with sets from some of the UK’s most in-demand DJs including Emily Rawson (Camp Bestival, Wireless), Super K (Soho House), Mr Ben & Gino of Mr Ben Agency, Gracie DJ, Roberta Cutolo, DJ Fabrizia, and more. Live acoustic acts include LeoSax, Molto Soul Duo, and Soul in the Belfry, with more names to be announced.
For interior lovers and design enthusiasts, the festival will feature stunning homeware spaces by Ceraudo, Ava & Azar, Allora Shop, At Last Emporium, Anegada Club, Marla & Primrose, and Greymint. The artisan tent will showcase thoughtfully curated pieces from Braycured, Seasonitaly, Truffle Guys’ Nonna Tonda, and Freddie’s Flowers. Festivalgoers can browse or shop while soaking up inspiration from beautifully styled displays that reflect the elegance of a Mediterranean summer.
The Gioia beauty lounge offers guests a luxurious space to unwind, featuring the BLO Bar on-site for express blow-dries and braiding, as well as manicures, massages, and glittery festival makeovers by Glitter Arty for those seeking to embody the Marzamemi spirit. The setting itself will evoke the warmth and colour of Sicily, with festoon lighting, olive trees, hand-painted furniture, and vibrantly decorated tents transporting visitors straight to the Mediterranean.
For families, Marzamemi offers non-stop entertainment from noon to night. Activities include inflatable fun, a mini beach, pasta workshops, an outdoor cinema and disco, football drills, a vintage sweet cart, popcorn and candy floss. New for this year, there will be a Story Time session featuring Yasmine Anane, who will read from her book, The Family Tree, and a special meet-the-author event with Italian-British author Melania Giofré, who will present her children’s novel, Jonny and the Mystery of the Sun Disc. The fancy dress area will be stocked for The Giggle Company’s unmissable performance — and best of all, all children’s activities are included within the ticket price.
Marzamemi’s founder, Emily Ceraudo, says: “I am so proud to bring Marzamemi to my home of Richmond. The festival is a celebration of my Italian heritage, and I’m excited to share the beauty of the island with my local community through food, drink, fashion, music, and more. I look forward to bringing a slice of Sicily to London for years to come.”
